The Hospital IT Purchasing Center (CAIH) chooses APL Data Center to support public health digital infrastructures.
APL Data Center has been designated as the successful bidder for lot 6 of the contract "Acquisition of data center hardware, software: storage, servers, virtualization, data protection, and multi-technical environment. Maintenance and associated services" from the Hospital IT Purchasing Center (CAIH) for a period of four years. This lot concerns assistance to contracting authority (AMOA) and project management (MOE) services for the technical infrastructures of IT rooms and the operation of IT rooms for public health organizations.
For four years, APL may be mandated by hospitals, Hospital Groupings (GHT), and medico-social structures adhering to the CAIH for a wide range of consulting and project management (MOE) services: existing infrastructure audits, needs formalization, drafting of Specific Technical Clauses (CCTP), awarding of works contracts, monitoring and commissioning of technical installations, and assistance with the operation and certification of health data hosting providers (HDS). To support CAIH members, APL will leverage its cross-functional expertise in electrical, climate, mechanical engineering, automation, security, supervision, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).
To meet the requirements of the public health sector, APL can mobilize more than 230 specialized engineers across the country and its agencies in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, and Rennes. These teams possess all the necessary skills in engineering, architecture, project management, and security, including for sensitive sites. They will thus assist health stakeholders in modernizing their IT infrastructures while reducing their operating costs and operational risks. APL will also contribute its unique expertise in sustainable IT by committing to designing efficient and sustainable data centers: reducing energy and water consumption, optimizing technical performance, eco-design of installations, and harmonious integration into their local environment.
With over 4,000 references, APL relies on solid expertise and a proven organization, already recognized through collaborations with major public actors. This expertise is accompanied by industry-standard certifications, notably ISO 9001 and 14001, as well as Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) and Accredited Operations Specialist (AOS) accreditations issued by the Uptime Institute, guaranteeing quality and reliability.
"We thank the CAIH for the trust placed in APL Data Center to support hospitals, hospital groupings, and medico-social structures in managing and evolving their data center infrastructures, which support digital health systems. Our expert teams are mobilized to address technological, environmental, and quality and security challenges related to sensitive data hosting by providing health stakeholders with reliable, secure, and sustainable infrastructures." states Tristan Richard, General Manager of APL Data Center.
