APL Awarded Gold Medal by EcoVadis

APL has been awarded the EcoVadis 2024 Gold Medal with a score of 78/100. This recognition places us among the top 5% of companies evaluated by EcoVadis achieving this level of performance in corporate social responsibility (CSR).

This assessment conducted by EcoVadis enables customers, investors, and stakeholders to evaluate and compare the CSR performance of their partners.

It is based on the evaluation of four key themes: environmental commitment, social commitment and human rights, ethics, and responsible procurement policy.

APL was awarded the Silver Medal in 2023 and has progressed in all areas to achieve Gold.

Our main areas of improvement have been as follows:

Redesign and/or implementation of quality policies for environment, anti-corruption, personal data protection, and social responsibility;
Membership in the United Nations Global Compact;
Improved reporting;
Implementation of an employee awareness program on the 4 pillars;
Strengthened supplier management (annual evaluation, code of conduct, CSR clauses in contracts, etc.).

This result recognizes APL's work in structuring its CSR strategy, which is one of the key initiatives of its NextGen 2022-2024 strategic plan.
