Driven by its growth in Europe and its hyperscaler projects, APL Data Center reports revenue of €62.3 million in 2024, up 22%.

Published on May 27, 2025 -

APL Data Center, a group specialising in consulting and design-and-build engineering for data centers, is unveiling its sharply rising financial results for FY2024, marked by new milestones in its European development. These results confirm the strategy implemented under the IMPACT 2027 plan, which positions APL Data Center—with strong European ambitions—as a central pure player in the data center industry.

Key figures and information:

  • Revenue of €62.3 million, up 22% compared with 2023.
  • Net profit of €4.2 million, reflecting controlled management and an increased ability to meet the growing needs of the digital infrastructure market.
  • Gross margin reaching €35 million, up 32%.
  • The Group is maintaining its sustained R&D effort, representing 8.6% of its gross margin.
  • 260 employees to date, including the recruitment of 41 new talents since the start of 2025.

Momentum driven by international expansion and hyperscalers

As part of its international development plan, APL Data Center strengthened its presence in Southern Europe with the opening of a branch in Milan (Italy). The Group also consolidated its position with hyperscalers and cloud players by contributing to the majority of large-scale projects. These new growth drivers enabled APL to achieve 22% growth compared with the previous financial year.

Tristan Richard, CEO of APL Data Center, states “The acceleration of our rollout in Southern Europe and our support for hyperscalers laid the foundations for solid new growth drivers for APL. In 2024, we multiplied projects with leading and innovative players, a momentum that enabled us to reach remarkable levels of growth. We will continue on this path in the coming years to assert our status as a pure-player data center engineering firm in Europe.”

IMPACT 2027: a strategic roadmap serving innovation and international expansion

In 2025, APL is implementing its new strategic plan IMPACT 2027, with a series of ambitious objectives:

  • Develop business with new international players, such as logistics providers and investors, with the goal of reaching 15% of revenue generated internationally by 2027.
  • Continue rolling out APL’s activities internationally.
  • Accelerate our contribution to innovation for data centers through the Lab by APL, our internal laboratory dedicated to research and development of emerging solutions, notably for infrastructure dedicated to artificial intelligence.
  • Continue developing our ambitious and innovative HR policy, focused on training and promoting talent, diversifying profiles, employees’ quality of life, and supporting teams in an international environment.

Robert Bouchard, Chairman of APL Data Center, concludes:

“APL Data Center has real strengths on the international stage. Beyond our ability to operate across the industry’s entire value chain, APL stands out for its unique approach aimed at reducing the environmental impact of the projects we deliver. This committed approach and expertise are now earning us recognition from our international clients, who rightly consider us a trusted European partner.”
