APL renews its EcoVadis Gold Medal
APL Data Center once again received the EcoVadis Gold Medal in 2025 with a score of 78/100, placing us in the top 2% of the overall score of companies assessed by the platform in the “Architecture and engineering activities” sector.
EcoVadis assesses companies’ CSR performance across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. This new Gold Medal highlights our ongoing commitment to improving our CSR performance in our professional practices. This commitment is also part of our IMPACT 2027 strategic plan.
EcoVadis notably highlighted the new initiatives implemented in 2025 across the four assessed areas.
Environmental pillar (top 6%)
- For our clients : providing programmes or services to calculate carbon footprint, offering eco-design services, and providing information on the environmental impacts of projects.
- Internally: integrating a materiality analysis into sustainability reporting and improving reporting on gross GHG emissions for Scopes 1, 2 and 3.
Social and human rights pillar (top 3%)
- Combating discrimination and workplace harassment: employee training and awareness campaigns, actions to promote the inclusion of employees with disabilities and prevent harassment, as well as preventing discrimination from the recruitment stage.
- Occupational hygiene, health and safety (HSE): training employees in best practices, improving HSE reporting, and actions to ensure the health and safety of non-salaried workers and other contract workers on our premises.
Ethics pillar (top 4%)
- Combating fraud, corruption and conflicts of interest: advanced policies, training and awareness campaigns, and the creation of practical materials for employees.
- Cybersecurity and protection of confidential data: an advanced information security policy and the development of a procedure to manage incidents involving breaches of confidential information.
Sustainable procurement pillar (top 8%)
- Training buyers on social and environmental issues in procurement processes.
- Developing a procurement policy that includes environmental criteria in the selection and evaluation of suppliers.
