GALEC's data center is located in the same building as its head office. After a site audit revealed certain points for improvement, GALEC chose APL to manage upgrades to the site in order make it more reliable, more economical, and easier to operate.

Project objective

Install a new electrical and climate control network dedicated to the computer rooms, in order to reach Tier-3 levels of service continuity
Reduce operating costs and energy consumption: re-organize the computer rooms in order to optimize the performance of air conditioning units and reduce energy consumption (target PUE ≤ 1.5); install an economical cooling solution
