APL Data Center inaugurates its new offices in Marseille
APL Data Center continues its growth in the Southern region with the inauguration of its new offices in Marseille. An evening focused on exchange, conviviality, and ambition, bringing together clients, partners, employees, and regional stakeholders.
A new milestone for APL Data Center Marseille
It was in the iconic setting of Maison Yellow, on the Docks de la Joliette, that APL Data Center celebrated the inauguration of its new premises in Marseille.
This new location strengthens APL's local presence and supports the growth of its activities in the region. More than a dozen employees are now based in Marseille, where they contribute to the development of data center infrastructure projects across the region.
Beyond new offices, this inauguration marks an important milestone in APL's commitment to strengthening its proximity to clients and partners, and to supporting the challenges of the region as closely as possible.
Marseille, a strategic hub for digital infrastructure
The evening was also an opportunity to discuss Marseille's strategic role in the development of the digital ecosystem.
Thanks to its geographic location and numerous submarine cable connections, Marseille has established itself as a major point of interconnection between Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.
The city thus holds a key position in the development of connectivity and digital infrastructure in the Mediterranean, in France, and more broadly across Europe.
For APL Data Center Marseille, this momentum represents a particularly strategic environment for supporting industry players and contributing to the development of high-performance, resilient infrastructure suited to tomorrow's digital needs.
A round table on regional challenges
The inauguration was marked by a round table bringing together several figures committed to the economic and digital development of the region:
- Corinne Innesti, President of Entrepreneurs Bouches-du-Rhône and elected representative of the Aix-Marseille-Provence Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
- Robert Bouchard, Chairman of APL;
- Christophe Weiss, Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board of APL and Vice-President of France Datacenter;
- Tristan Richard, CEO of APL.
The discussions provided an opportunity to put into perspective the challenges related to the development of digital infrastructure and Marseille's unique place in this ecosystem.
This discussion also illustrated the importance of dialogue between businesses, economic stakeholders, institutions, and regions in supporting the sector's sustainable growth.
A location close to our clients and partners
With these new offices, APL Data Center confirms its commitment to continuing its growth in the Southern region while remaining close to its clients and partners.
This local presence allows the teams to better understand the region's specific challenges, strengthen collaboration with the regional ecosystem, and support digital infrastructure projects on the ground.
The inauguration of these new premises thus marks a new milestone in APL Data Center's development in Marseille and reaffirms our ambition to sustainably support stakeholders in the Southern region with their digital infrastructure projects.
An evening focused on connection and exchange
APL Data Center thanks all the clients, partners, local officials, journalists, and employees who attended this inauguration evening.
