The multiplication of large-scale projects, carried out in France and internationally
APL Data Center's growth in 2023 stems from the successful implementation of the main initiatives of its NextGen2024 strategic plan, highlighted by:
- A significant increase in the size of projects handled with controlled risk management, particularly thanks to the strengthening of production resources and support functions.
- Strengthened international presence with the signing of major contracts with leading players in Italy, Djibouti, and Morocco.
- Strategic expertise with hyperscalers, with an accelerating number of projects that consolidates APL's leadership position in this segment.
“In 2023, we strengthened our expertise in studies and project management, enabling us to lead larger international projects. This strategy has paid off, particularly with hyperscalers and GAFAM, thus contributing to our strong growth,” specifies Tristan Richard, Deputy CEO of APL Data Center.
Strategic consolidation of APL's resources to support market expansion
APL Data Center anticipates sustained growth in digital services for 2024. The company is preparing for increased foreign investment in digital infrastructures and the development of AI-related technologies, which are accelerating the demand for data center power and storage.
To support this dynamic, the group continues its investment strategy.
- APL Data Center now has nearly 200 talents and is still recruiting 60 employees in 2024.
- The group continues to acquire the necessary technical and financial means to successfully complete large-scale project management and "turnkey" projects in France and internationally.
- Finally, APL Data Center continues its investment in the development of Lab by APL, its laboratory dedicated to R&D, to contribute to necessary innovations and actively promote the evolution of the state of the art in its industry.
