APL designs and delivers a colocation data center for Jaguar Network

As part of its development, Jaguar Network decided to build a data center in Lyon, named Rock and dedicated to high availability hosting. Ultimately, the site will have around 800 racks spread across eight IT rooms.

Context and objectives of the assignment

The telecom operator and IT hosting provider entrusted APL with the design and delivery, in line with best practice, of the first four IT rooms and technical areas, so that the data center combines service continuity and energy performance.

Design a scalable data center meeting the specific requirements of colocation
Achieve a high target for service continuity and energy performance
Fit-out of four IT rooms, spread over 1,220 m², each ultimately able to accommodate around 100 racks
Manage the design and delivery of the works, from studies through to handover acceptance
