As part of a strategic energy consumption reduction project decided at the EMEA regional level, Equinix France sought assistance from an energy performance project manager to lead and unify all projects to be carried out across its 4 data centers.

APL was selected to carry out this mission, in close collaboration with internal teams and an external consulting firm.

Optimize the overall energy efficiency of Equinix's 4 French data centers
Coordinate all project stakeholders: internal teams (France and EMEA) and external consulting firm
Implement tools for managing the technical and financial performance of energy optimization projects
Have consistent energy performance indicators at the EMEA level to communicate the results obtained

Management of a project portfolio covering all energy efficiency improvement initiatives
Coordination of French technical and operational teams, an external consulting firm, and the teams in charge of the project at the EMEA level (based in England)
Planning, execution monitoring, and budget tracking for energy optimization programs to be implemented
Implementation of reporting and management indicators (KPIs), compliant with EMEA team requirements, to measure the effectiveness of actions undertaken
