France has undeniable strengths for hosting data centers, starting with its position at the crossroads of Europe and network interconnections. The boom in the Internet of Things, the end of Safe Harbor, Brexit... combined with initiatives recently launched by Gimélec, CESIT..., should further strengthen this privileged position. However, these advantages must not lose sight of the fact that setting up a data center project requires a precise and rigorous approach. In this field, there is no room for improvisation!
