Data center engineering: APL is committed to talent
The longevity of critical infrastructure depends as much on its design as on the people who support it. It is with this in mind that APL actively contributes to the industry's appeal among young women engineers.
On October 1st, 2026, APL took part in the event organized by Entract at MK2 Bibliothèque in Paris. The event brought together final-year engineering students and recent graduates, who came to meet companies, connect with professionals, and discover future opportunities.
Selma KAMEL, Business Unit Director, Justine PETRUKA, Deputy CEO Operations, and Margaux LEO, Head of People, represented the Group. They presented our expertise and professions, and shared their career paths with participants in a more personal format than a traditional career fair.

A skills challenge for the entire industry
The growth of digital usage, the rise of AI, and increasing energy efficiency requirements are profoundly transforming data centers. Design, auditing, project management, operations: these roles require highly qualified profiles, in a sector where skills are becoming increasingly scarce.
Attracting and training the engineers of tomorrow is therefore not just a human resources issue. It is a condition for sustainably supporting our clients in the reliability, availability, and performance of their infrastructures.
Diversity, a driver of performance
Engineering and data center professions remain largely male-dominated. By meeting these future women engineers, APL aims to showcase the richness of our professions and highlight women's career paths in the industry.
"This event was an opportunity to meet engaged, curious students and recent graduates, already very aware of the challenges of the working world. These exchanges remind us of our responsibility as a company: to listen to their expectations, recognize their potential, and offer them the best possible career by joining us." — Margaux, Head of People, APL
Diverse teams bring together more perspectives, and it is this plurality of approaches that strengthens the quality of support we provide our clients on high-stakes projects.
