Third European Location: APL Data Center Opens a New Office in Spain

Following Switzerland and Italy, Spain becomes the third European country where APL Data Center consolidates its presence. This new opening represents a key milestone in implementing the Impact 2027 strategic plan, which confirms the company's ambition to become the leading European pure player in data center engineering. It strengthens its capacity to operate across the entire lifecycle of European critical infrastructures, from design and deployment to maintenance of high-performance solutions.

Driven by exceptional investment momentum, Spain is establishing itself as one of Europe's most promising digital hubs. According to the Spain DC association, the national data center market is expected to attract €58 billion in investments by 2030. Madrid already displays growth rates exceeding those of the main FLAP capitals (Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Paris), confirming its role as a major hub for cloud and artificial intelligence.

Based in Madrid and led by Julien Humblot, Head of Southern Europe at APL Data Center, the Spanish team already has 2 employees and is expected to reach 12 by the end of 2026.

With recognized expertise in project management and engineering that places environmental considerations at the core of its approach, the team is laying the foundations for solid development in the Iberian market and is already participating in several strategic initiatives alongside local and international partners.
