The Central Purchasing Agency for Hospital IT (CAIH) chooses APL Data Center to support public health digital infrastructure

APL Data Center has been awarded lot 6 of the contract for the "Acquisition of data center hardware and software: storage, servers, virtualization, data protection, and multi-technical environment. Maintenance and related services" by the Central Purchasing Agency for Hospital IT (CAIH) for a period of four years. This lot concerns project management assistance and project management services for the technical infrastructure of computer rooms and the operation of computer rooms for public health organizations.

For four years, APL may be commissioned by hospitals, regional hospital groups, and medical-social structures that are members of the CAIH to provide a wide range of consulting and project management services: auditing existing systems, formalizing requirements, drafting special technical specifications, awarding works contracts, monitoring and commissioning technical installations, and assisting with the operation and certification of health data hosts. To support CAIH members, APL will draw on its cross-disciplinary expertise in the fields of electrical engineering, climate control, mechanics, automation, safety, supervision, and Building Information Modeling (BIM).

To meet the requirements of the public health sector, APL will be able to mobilize more than 230 specialized engineers located throughout France and at its agencies in Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, and Rennes. These teams have all the necessary skills in engineering, architecture, project management, and security, including at sensitive sites. They will support healthcare stakeholders in modernizing their IT infrastructure while reducing their operating costs and operational risks. APL will also contribute its unique expertise in responsible digital technology by committing to designing energy-efficient and sustainable data centers: reducing energy and water consumption, optimizing technical performance, eco-designing facilities, and ensuring harmonious integration into their local environment.

With more than 4,000 references, APL draws on solid expertise and a proven organizational structure, already recognized in the context of collaborations with major public sector players. This expertise is accompanied by industry-leading certifications, including ISO 9001 and 14001, as well as Accredited Tier Designer (ATD) and Accredited Operations Specialist (AOS) accreditations from the Uptime Institute, which are guarantees of quality and reliability.

“We would like to thank CAIH for placing its trust in APL Data Center to support hospitals, hospital groups, and medical-social facilities in the management and development of their data center infrastructures, which support digital healthcare systems. Our expert teams are committed to meeting the technological, environmental, and quality and security challenges associated with hosting sensitive data by providing healthcare stakeholders with reliable, secure, and sustainable infrastructure,” said Tristan Richard, CEO of APL Data Center.
