Inforsud hires APL to refurbish and operate its main datacenter

The Inforsud Group has enlisted APL to design and refurbish its main data center to speed up the development of digital services (digitization, IT hosting, etc.), which it markets to SMEs, medium-sized companies, and local communities in Occitania. APL is assisting the company for three years to operate this site in line with professional standards, in order to achieve the expected levels of availability and energy performance (Tier 3 and PUE below 1.5).
Mission objectives
- Upgrade and improve service continuity at two IT sites: Tier 3 for the main data center, Tier 2 for the backup data center
- Carry out work in occupied sites, with no service interruptions
- Establish best practices for operations and maintenance
Services provided
- Consultancy: existing system audit, feasibility study, and costing of conceivable options
- Data center design: drafting of specifications and tendering of companies commissioned to carry out the work
- Turnkey build: total refurbishment of the main data center (250 m2 available) and work to improve the backup data center
- Three years of operational assistance for all technical work packages
